Learn moreIn the Hill Country, aquifer levels rise and fall with the weather. A storage tank gives your system a reserve to draw from, so your pump can work at a steady, efficient pace instead of straining during peak use or drought. The result is more consistent pressure at the house and a pump that lasts longer.
Over time, mineral scale and buildup can clog a well's intake and choke off your flow. Acidizing is a treatment that dissolves that buildup and restores the well's production, often a far cheaper fix than drilling a new well. If your output has slowly dropped over the years, this may be exactly what it needs.
An old or abandoned well is a safety and contamination risk, and Texas requires that it be plugged properly. We decommission wells to state standards, sealing them so they can't channel surface pollution down into the aquifer everyone depends on.
